Campos planos para camping

Planeamos que los movimientos de tierra para el campamento comenzaran alrededor de 2020.

We planned the earthworks for the camping to start around 2020.

Justo antes de que pudiéramos comenzar, las cosas se complicaron por un pánico repentino por un virus. Entonces también comenzó el fenómeno meteorológico La Niña que duró 3 años. La Niña trae mucha lluvia a nuestra región y fue imposible realizar ningún trabajo.

Just before we could get started things got complicated by a sudden panic about a virus. Then also the weather phenomenon La Niña started and lasted for 3 years. La Niña brings a lot of rain to our region and it was impossible to get any work done.

Sólo en las últimas semanas finalmente tuvimos un verano realmente cálido… y tuvimos suerte de poder encontrar una excavadora en nuestro camino.

Only in the past weeks we finally had a real warm summer… and we were lucky we could get an excavator to come our way.

Ampliamos el camino de entrada e instalamos un parqueardero (justo más adelante después de los árboles)

We widened the entrance road and installed a parking lot (straight ahead after the trees)

En la imagen de arriba puedes ver el campo numero 2 a la derecha y la nueva carretera que lo rodea.

In the picture above you can see camping field number 2 on the right and the new road curving around it.

Desde el parking la carretera rodea el Campo 2, quedando el futuro Campo 3 a la izquierda de la carretera (no visible)

Finalmente conectamos el campo 1 y 2 con el área de baños/duchas y la tienda/bar.

Finally we connected field 1 and 2 with the area for the restrooms/showers and the shop/bar.

Entonces, después de 3 años de esperar a que pararan las lluvias para poder crear los campos, ahora necesitamos que llueva nuevamente para que el pasto y los árboles cubran nuevamente el área de campamento… Con un próximo El Niño que podría tardar un poco… ¡La ironía!

So after 3 years of us waiting for the rains to stop so we could create the fields, now we need it to rain again for the grass and the trees to cover the camping area… With an El Niño next that could take a while… The irony!
